The Science, Technology and Society Unit at Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) is a newly established group of inter- and transdisciplinary researchers with a long-standing experience in investigating the linkages between science, technology innovation and society from a social sciences perspective.
One focus is research on policy and broader governance issues related to plant biotechnology and sustainable food systems. Stakeholder and user engagement is a frequent characteristic when conducting this research and has been successfully applied in the field of plant biotechnology and food systems for many years.
