1st PlantEd Conference ‘Plant genome editing-State of the art’

November 5, 2019 - November 7, 2019

Our partners Katarina Cankar from WUR and Milica Bogdanovic from IBISS will be there presenting CHIC project.

1st PlantEd conference within COST Action 18111 (PlantEd) will be the extended three days joint meeting of Action Working Groups and Management Committee, together with an open-to-all scientific introduction dedicated to genome editing technology in plants.

This will be a suitable platform for dissemination of the Actions ideas through Working Groups: WG1-Technical platforms, WG2-Impact assessment, WG3-Policies and regulations, WG4-Perceptions and opinions – all with a focus on genome editing in plants.

This conference will gather experts from various backgrounds from science to industry and through the scientific part of the conference will introduce all participants to the powerful technology of genome editing and its applications in plants. The outcome of the conference will help shaping the activities of the COST Action PlantEd over the next four years. There will be plenty of opportunities for networking from peers from all over Europe and from various disciplines.
